Places are allotted on a first come, first served basis.
Please read the terms and conditions below before booking.
-
A deposit of £100 per class is required to reserve a place. The balance is due no later than four weeks before the class begins. Details of payment options are at the end of the T&Cs. All classes incur a materials charge (individually determined for each class), payable at the end of the workshop, preferably in cash.
-
Classes only run if there is a minimum of five attending, with eight being the maximum. For this reason enrolment must be made at least four weeks before the start date in order for guest tutors travelling from abroad to have time to make travel arrangements. It is possible to still book within the four weeks if the enrolment minimum has been met and there is still space.
-
Participants should not book flights or B&Bs until they are sent confirmation that the class will go ahead. BrD will notify you four weeks before the start date if the class is viable. BINDING re:DEFINED accepts no financial responsibility for travel or accommodation costs if booked prior to class confirmation or in case of a participant cancelling.
-
Cancellations: the £100 deposit is non refundable and non transferrable to another class if a participant cancels more than four weeks prior to the workshop; it is only refunded if a replacement is found. The full fee is non refundable if a cancellation is made within four weeks - this includes the full amount as well as the deposit. Full refunds are made only if a class is cancelled by BrD. International payments are refunded minus any foreign exchange fees.
-
A list of required tools and any relevant information will be sent to students at least ten days before the class.
-
Participants are responsible to make their own arrangements to insure against third-party claims while using the premises.
-
Participants are expected to observe all health and safety regulations and follow bindery rules (posted in the bindery).
-
Participants are required to inform the host of any medical conditions or food allergies in advance.
-
Accommodation is the responsibility of participants and a partial list is provided on the next page. BINDING re:DEFINED does not endorse any of the suggested accommodations.
